• About David Mullaney

An alumnus of the University of Massachusetts and the construction management program at the Wentworth Institute, David Mullaney leveraged his education to found Mullaney Corporation. David R. Mullaney guided the vertical construction firm as CEO from 1986 to 2010, during which time it was among New England's largest open shop construction firms. Under his leadership, the firm completed the $35 million performing arts center at Bard College at Simon’s Rock, a $14 million dormitory and educational facility at Lawrence Academy, and a $10.1 million cancer care facility at UMass Memorial.

After earning a juris doctor from the Massachusetts School of Law, David R. Mullaney began working as a regional advisor at Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance. He most recently served as a self-employed consulting attorney providing counsel to private developers on mid-rise building projects. Complementing more than 30 years of experience in construction management, he holds membership with the American Arbitration Association and previously served three years on the American Bar Association's Forum Committee on Construction Law.
